Great server, been here pretty much from the second I installed the game. Now, formalities aside-

What's with the IO setting you guys have on right now?

By the way, I saw a poll around here, asking whether people would want to change it to SL spawn only and no regen health. As much as I loved BF3, those things are here to stay, the game works the way it does pretty nicely, you start breaking that apart, might lose a lot of regulars.

Sorry wasn't about at the time the server fucked up. Procon crashed and the last map that loaded from it was Highway 3 flag which runs as Inf only. This would normally change on the next map load, but didn't due to no procon controlling it :[

Re: the poll stuff, thats why there is spam on the server to make poeple come here to the thread and discuss it. The more people that vote the better picture we will have of whats good and whats not. :]

Not going to happen, though, I mean- getting a good picture of what people wan't. Internet rule no.1 says 99% of people won't care enough, and the 1% which yells a lot, is a miniscule minority

You guys have a good thing going. Server is packed pretty much 24/7, and all the while delivering the best of two worlds- great Conquest games for older BF vets, and a solid Rush taste to mix it up. Don't turn it into COD, please.

I think it might be interesting to have a twiddle for a day. we already have a B2K day (Monday) and a Regulars' Map Night (Friday)...
If there was a zombie mod, it would be awesome to see Zombie Sunday.
Maybe a Strategic Tuesday could work?

I think there's some truth to what you say about the internet rule "99% of people won't care enough, while a small minority will" I think there is some truth to that, that there will always be the few that are engaged in the communities of the servers that they play on and there will always be the hordes of people who get on for a few matches.

However, I also think it's all of our jobs to get people to be engaged in the community and involved with the other members, as while most people have a passive attitude, it doesn't have to be that way. Additionally, an engaged, considerate, and involved community is just better for everyone. As once people get to know and care about the community they're part of, the more considerate they are of what they do and say in-game/forums.
