Tried to connect to The Mighty BF3 Teamplay server today to find out I was banned for spawn killing. I believe I know what happened here, and also believe I'm at least somewhat innocent.

You see, I was just a gunner in the Viper this random dude, that I don't know, was flying. Therefore I had no control over where I was taken, I just shot things. Didn't really see a problem in one flyover of the enemy base, blew up a jet and a helicopter in mid-take-off - that's all. First I expected the pilot to bank and fly us out of there, he didn't, he stayed for the long haul in howering. That's where I stopped firing feeling that the mere everyday flyoever had turned into basecamping and expected to be blown out of the sky shortly (howering in enemy base is rarely a good idea). Didn't happen. Finally I hit the chat team and started typing a message to tell the guy to fly the heck out of there - but was cut short by the kick, a justified one for that. It must have looked bad.

I have no problem with the fact I was kicked for being a passenger in wrong baserapers Viper - but the fact I was actually banned for this offense seems a bit harsh, to me anyway.

Can has mercy? Took some time to find a server with such wide variety of maps and the best gamemodes in rotation. Would really love to be allowed to continue playing with you guys.

so yeah i ban for spawn rape but the pilot is the one to blame but yet u can still restrict yourself of shooting towards spawn !!
